John Mammino (93) of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on June 19, 2023. John was born to Rosario and Maria Mammino on October 9, 1929 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. He received his pilot's license in 1947 and flew personal aircraft for friends and family. John proudly served his country as a Paratrooper in the United States Army from 1948 to 1952. He married the love of his life, his beautiful bride, Rita Ouellette on February 12, 1955. John worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in Connecticut then in Florida where they re-located in 1957. While working full time and raising five children, he continued his education at Palm Beach Junior College. He finished out his last few years before retirement working for Pratt & Whitney in Saudi Arabia. John enjoyed and excelled at bowling, his favorite lifelong hobby and he treasured the friends he made along the way. St. Lucie, FL; grandson, Joey Mammino of Pt. St. Lucie, FL; grandson, Brad Mammino of Pt. St. Lucie, FL; grandson, Corey Mammino of Tucker, GA; granddaughter, Rachel Patterson of West Palm Beach, Fl; granddaughter, Michele Mammino of West Palm Beach, FL; grandson, Alex Holmstock of West Palm Beach, FL; grandson, Adam Holmstock of Tallahassee, FL; great granddaughter, Aubrey Kuhn of High Springs, FL.
