John Patrick Malys 67 Lived in Greenacres, Florida 9-4-2023 John passed away peacefully in the morning at the VA Hospice after a long battle with cancer. Born on 2-24-1956 West Palm Beach, Florida Survived by: Sisters, Lee Ann McGurk and Yvonne Marie Bunny Hoffman Brother, Kevin Malys Predeceased: Father, Edward James Malys Mother, Auda Marie Bisson Brother, Edward Michael Malys Niece, Samantha Malys Nephew, Dylan McGurk Went to New Britain High School in Connecticut Graduated in 1974 Where he won High School State Championship in baseball and was Champion swimmer. He enjoyed basset hounds (3), and he enjoyed taking his dogs to Okeeheelee park for long walks after work. Loved bass fishing, coin collecting, watching the Miami Dolphins, Marlins and he played softball for many years and won championships. Marine Corps Reserves from 1974-1980 Most of John's work was with land surveying till he retired in 2022
