John Willie Lane Sr.

On Wednesday, March 12, 2014, John Willie Lane Sr. departed this life at Royal Manor Nursing Home, where he will join his beloved wife the late Mary Louise Lane; daughter, Sandra Louise Dozier and preceded in death by his brother, Elmer Lane in eternal life. He was born in Jefferson County, GA on November 24, 1929 to the late Mrs. Rose Whigham Lane and John W. Lane. He lived most of his life in Riviera Beach, FL before retiring as a builder in construction. He lived in Louisville, GA from 2006 before he relocated to Royal Palm Beach, FL in 2013, where he spent the remainder of his life. He is survived by one sister, Fannie Maude Howard; five sons, John W. Lane Jr. of Marina, CA, Kerry (Brenda) James Lane of Macon, GA, Jeffery Leon Lane and Melvin Lynn Lane both of Riviera Beach, FL, Michael Louis Lane of Orlando, FL; two daughters, Sharon Lane Hardnett of West Palm Beach, FL and Janice (David) Lane Pleasant of Royal Palm Beach, FL; grandchildren, Gregory Pritchard Lane, Lamont (Jessica) Dozier, Octavius Lane, Jade (Ashbel) Dozier-Benjamin, Tiffany Lane of Gainesville, FL, Jasmine Lane and Levon Lane; great grandchildren, Rochelle Pritchard, J' Andra, Mary Jane and Lamont Dozier Jr., Ashari and Jazlyn Benjamin; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
