John Keith Jones

John Keith Jones, 80, of Wellington, FL, passed away on June 11, 2021. John was born December 19, 1940, in Duncan, Oklahoma. He was a graduate of Central State University and was a teacher and coach for 33 years. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 59 years, Linda Kay (Herrington) Jones. He was loved by his sons, John Keith Jones, Jr. (Nancy Macfarlane), Wellington, Kevin Lee Jones, (Michael Wallace), San Antonio, Texas, and Kirk Bradley Jones, (Melanie Adams), Huntsville, Alabama, 3 grandchildren and one sister, Jannette Speer of Dallas, Texas. John was an avid golfer and retired from Lake Worth High School. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Wellington, FL, American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. An in-person celebration of his life will be held at St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Wellington, on Saturday, June 19, 2021, at 10:00 am.
