John R Gerboc

John Robert Gerboc, Sr. passed away February 24, 2020. He was born in 1940 in Monogahela, PA and has lived in South Florida for the past 40 years. He was the son of the late John J. and Mary (Karlo) Gerboc. He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine (Panseri) with whom he shared 58 years of marriage; children, Jacqueline McKay, John Jr. (Lori), Janet Porter (Terry) and Jo Ann Geiger (Michael); his grandchildren, Kyle (Lauren), Jason, Zachary, Garrett, Kelly, Ben, Lauren and Caroline. He is predeceased by his brother, William Gerboc. John attended Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, PA and worked in the automotive business for 45 years. He loved his family, cars and golf. His golf game was in top form when he hit a hole-in-one in 1984. And he loved to play cards, teaching his family all his favorite games. When his grandchildren were young, he took great pleasure in treating them to an exclusive train ride on Tri-Rail with him.
