John Anthony Donvito

John Anthony DonVito, 87, of Lake Worth, FL, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Born in Pittock, PA, he was the son of Joseph and Carmella (Caputo) DonVito. He served as a Vice President of Akron Floors Company, founder of Cer-Mar Systems and became a prominent builder in South Florida owning DonVito Homes Inc. John's memory will be cherished by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Lillian M. (Balog) DonVito; daughters, Patricia (Harvey) Kase, Joanne DonVito and Maria Twardowski; grandchildren, Heather (John) Melendez, John (Wendy) Feinman, Chris Twardowski, Brian (Stephanie) Twardowski, Matthew Senn and Jonathan Senn; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Yola Crosby and Ida Cymbor; and brother-in-law, Joseph (Joyce) Horvath. A visitation will be held 5-8 PM on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at Palms West Funeral Home with a wake service beginning at 7:30 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held 10 AM on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Our Lady Queen of Apostles Catholic Church with entombment to follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.
