Joanna May Thompson

Joanna May Thompson, 54, passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 in Royal Palm Beach, FL. Joanna was born May 30, 1968 in Baltimore City, Maryland to George and Verlinda Gross Thompson. She had a passion for art, photography, creative writing, and was a lover of travel and all things furry. Joanna had a heart of gold and made a profound impact on everyone she encountered. She will be missed dearly. Joanna is survived by her loving husband James Price, her mother Verlinda Gross, sister Donna Thompson, her nieces Amanda (Cassandra) Thompson, Melisa Thompson, Cheyenne Thompson-Covington, and many beloved cousins and extended family. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League at 3100/3200 N Military Trail, West Palm Beach, FL 33409. Palms West Funeral Home & Crematory is handling arrangements.
