Joan S. Trischetta

Joan S. Trischetta left this life to be with God on 5/26/2013. Born in Rochester, NY on 5/27/1942, the first child of Stanley and Marian Lescarboura, Joan was raised in Westchester County. She attended Briarcliff HS and graduated from Westbrook Jr. College in 1961. It was in high school that Joan met the love of her life, Frank W. Trischetta. In 2011, they celebrated 50 years of marriage. Joan lived and worked in the Katonah Lewisboro School District, first as an administrative assistant and finally as head registrar of John Jay HS, before retiring in 1999 after 25 years. In 2002, Joan and Frank moved to Wellington, FL. Joan was a warm and compassionate soul who touched the heart of everyone she met. Her later years were marked by dementia (Pick's disease) and the undying love and devotion of her husband, Frank, who cared for her until she ultimately succumbed to this dreadful disease. Joan is survived by her husband, Frank Trischetta of Wellington, FL, her mother, Marian Lescarboura of Lantana, FL, her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Edward Goldman of Wellington, FL, her daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Frank O'Boyle of Wellington, FL and Suzanne and Scott McCauley of Ballston Lakes, NY, as well as her four grandchildren, Matthew, Megan and Sara O'Boyle and Kyla McCauley. Joan's gentle spirit and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. A memorial service will be held in her honor on 6/1/2013 at the Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, FL at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kids Cancer Foundation, 246 Royal Palm Beach Blvd, Royal Palm Beach 33411.
