Joan Maureen Thomas

Joan Maureen Thomas, 87, of Wellington, Florida Born in Baltimore Maryland. Joan was the third of four children. She graduated from Eastern High School and moved to Miami in 1958. She worked for AT&T in Baltimore and Bell South in Florida and New Jersey. She retired in the mid 1980s and became a real estate agent. She founded Aero Club Properties in Wellington, Florida. She was active in the Zonta Women's Club and served on the Aero Club of Wellington HOA. She is the widow of Joseph R. Thomas. She is survived by two Brothers, Richard and Carroll Montgomery, two stepchildren Mary Ellen Harrison and Joseph Thomas, a granddaughter, Laura Harrison and an extended family of nieces and nephews. Joan loved dog's especially her black lab Shadow. Funeral Services will be held at the Palms West Funeral Home Saturday, December 4th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of Flowers the family asks that donations to the Big Dog Ranch be made in Joan Thomas' name. https://www.bdrr.org/donation-form
