Joan R. Lane

Joan Marie Lane 72 loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother passed away Saturday September 6th, 2014 at Palmetto Medical Center in Hialeah, FL. She was born on December 2, 1941 in Port Huron, Michigan to Harold Mathias and Kathleen Goetz Rose. Joan grew up in Pompano Beach, FL. She graduated from Pompano Beach High School in Pompano Beach, FL. in 1961. At time of death she lived in Loxahatchee, FL. Joan worked at Plasti-Lines in Pompano Beach, FL. and Lion Country Safari in West Palm Beach, FL. Joan was happily married to William K. Lane for 54 years. She was a 4-H leader and BMX Mom for many years. Joan was a kind sweet woman with a heart of gold and she loved a good clearance rack. Joan was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Kathleen Rose; her brother Michael Rose; son in law Garrott Cutler; son William K. Lane II. Joan is survived by her spouse William K. Lane, her daughters Katherine Lane Cutler, Karen Lane(Calvin) Kellenberger, Karry Lane Cane, son Keith Lane, sisters Gloria(Jerry) Shumate, Margaret Barrett, Mary(Anthony) Rattray, brothers James(Kandi) Rose, Albert Rose. Grandchildren Lori Haven, Jerry Haven, Gloria Frutos, Ashley(Jerry) Ailes, Crystal Boyd, TJ(Jessica) Cane, Kevin Cane, Heather Cane, and Kendra Lane. Great Grandchildren Eylajia Long, Messiah Wrotten, Jade Haven, Cora Haven, Jonathan Ailes, Jayda Desrosiers, Rhyley Smeltzer. Lots of nieces, nephews and other relatives. A Celebration of Life will be held at Palms West Funeral Home 110 Business Park Way Royal Palm Beach, FL. 33411 on October 18, 2014 at 1:00.
