Jerry Lee Powell

Jerry L. Powell, formerly of Findlay, OH died April 23, 2018, at Vitas Hospice, Delray Beach, Florida, at the age of 77. Jerry was born in Findlay, OH to Clay R. and Lalia C. (Dantico) Powell on April 2, 1941. He and Jeanne Lois Yates married on August 8, 1964. His life-long love, Jeanne, survives. Jerry was preceded in death by both loving parents. Surviving are Jerry's cherished children, Randy L. (Jenniffer) Powell, Robyn A. (Vincent) Gasso, and Kerri L. (Craig) Van Eaton. He is survived by his beloved grandchildren, Vincent, Michael & Anthony Gasso, Sarah & Adam Van Eaton, as well as Nichole & Jerry (Alexander) Powell. Jerry is survived by brother, Roger L. (Sharon) Powell and sisters, Nancy P. (Edgar) Lowe and Betsy J. (Joe) Worden. Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews survive. Jerry was a 1959 graduate of Findlay High School and a Bowling Green State University graduate in 1963. Jerry particularly enjoyed spending time with his close-knit family. His yearning to travel included many trips overseas, cruises, and vacations with family members. Jerry spent a large part of his professional career as an entrepreneur in which he included his family and extended family. A celebration of Jerry's life will be held at Palms West Funeral home, 110 Business Park Way Royal Palm Beach, FL, 33411, on Friday April 27. Visitation will be from 1-3 with service following at 3pm. Jerry will be entombed at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach, FL.
