Jerry Preston Linkous

JERRY PRESTON LINKOUS Age 64 passed away peacefully on April 19, 2008. He was born in Bluefield, WV on Sept. 12, 1943 and was the son of Henry & Faye Linkous. He leaves behind his beloved wife Leslie; two daughters Kelly Smith and Kathy Linkous; son-in-law Ron Smith; brother Wayne and wife Ute Linkous; nephew Pete and niece Sonja. He was blessed with four grandchildren, Ashley, Mackensey, Spencear and Henry. He also leaves behind his aunt Margaret and many cousins in West Virginia. Jerry was a builder, contractor and real estate broker for many years owning his own business. In later years he oversaw new and existing school construction for the Palm Beach, Dade and Broward county school boards. He was a kind man who simply loved life and everyone he met. He will truly be missed. He was fondly known by family and friends as ?The Missing Link? and heaven welcomes him. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 11-1:00P.M. with a funeral service at l:00 P.M. at Palms West Funeral Home.
