Jerry Gobardhan

Jerry "Michael" Gobardhan age 72 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away on May 27, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. He was born to parents Sam and Ivy Gobardhan on April 10, 1950 in Uitvlugt, Guyana along with 5 brothers and 3 sisters. He migrated to the United States on August 25, 1978 and began a career as a mechanic. He married Vijay Gobardhan on April 22, 1973 who survives him. Jerry is also survived by daughter Sharmila Perez, son-in-law Jeff Perez, grand daughters Shailah Ward and Addison Gobardhan, grandson Sanjay Ward, brothers Reggie, Cheddi, Amrit and sisters Rita, Joan and Baba and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by parents Sam and Ivy Gobardhan, his son Rishi Gobardhan and brothers Roy and Percy Gobardhan. Jerry loved to be outdoors, whether it was tinkering with a vehicle, castnet fishing or just enjoying the beautiful sunshine. He was instantly liked by anyone who met him because of his fun-loving and carefree nature. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. The memorial service will be held at Palm West Funeral Home with viewing and visitation on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 5 pm - 7pm and ceremony and cremation on Friday, June 3, 2022 from 9 am - 12 pm.
