O?Halloran is survived by his wife, Rosaleen Ryan O?Halloran; sons, Jimmy Ryan and John Ryan: daughters, Heline Hastings and Rosaleen Charrier and Kathryn Carchia; sister, Christine (Robert) Devine; brother, James O?Halloran. He also leaves behind twelve grandchildren.
