Jennie Ann Blanda, 68, of West Palm Beach, Fl passed away peacefully after a long fight battling lung cancer. Jennie Ann is survived by her husband of 49 years, Nicholas Blanda, and Daughter Angela Blanda. Jennie Ann was born May 6, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York. There she met and married her High School Sweetheart, Nicholas Blanda. She was a homemaker and loved cooking for all her family, friends and neighbors. Her favorite dish to cook was Eggplant Parmesan. Jennie and her family relocated to West Palm Beach in 1990, where she met two lifelong friends, Della Ward and Mary Jane, who became sisters to her. Jennie loved her devoted daughter Angela, who flew down every three weeks from New York to be by her mother's side; Her Goddaughter Mildred Noto, who held a very special place in her heart; and her dog Buddy, whom she is now reunited with. Jennie was known as a Firecracker. She said it like it was and did not hold back. Going to the casino with her best friends and playing the slot machine were some of her favorite past times. Her favorite movies were It's a Wonderful Life and Patch Adams. Jennie was adored and loved by her family, friends and thoughtful neighbors. She will always be remembered as a loving Wife, Mother and beloved Friend. Rest in Peace.
