Jeffrey David Richards, 18, passed away and was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 6, 2017 surrounded by his family at his side. Jeffrey was born on June 3, 1998 in Boca Raton, FL, the son of Stephen and Tammy Richards. Every life has a story: Jeffrey, diagnosed with a heart defect at birth (hypoplastic left heart syndrome), had three open heart surgeries before the age of 5, and contrary to the survival rates, he beat all the odds and had a full and exciting life. He was a senior at Berean Christian School in West Palm Beach. He had been accepted to attend Rollins College in the Fall to study international business. Jeffrey was a Jeep enthusiast, loved the water and boating, snow skiing, travel and was an avid Miami Dolphins fan. He was very involved in his school and participated in multiple mission trips, the most recent to New Mexico in late February, 2017. Jeffrey, a beloved son and brother is survived by his parents Stephen and Tammy, his brothers Christopher, Anthony and Ryan and nephew Carter. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Steven and Peggy Pace, maternal great-grandmother Peggy Harvey and paternal grandfather, David Richards. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
