Jeffrey S. Rand

Jeffrey Scott Rand Mr. Jeffrey Scott Rand (Buffalo), 54, of West Palm Beach, Florida died peacefully surrounded by family and friends on January 5, 2016 after a short and courageous fight against cancer at Wellington Regional Hospital. He was born at Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach, Florida on April 24, 1961. He was the son of the late James Parker Rand and Johnnie Ruth (Shirley) Rand. Jeff is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Cindy Dennese (Baker) Rand, his brother, Gary Michael Rand and wife Donna, and their three children Natalie Rand Walsh, Jennifer Marie Rand and Gary Michael Rand II. His brothers-in-law: Dave Simpson and wife Tammy, and William Newberry and wife Mary Lou, as well as a number of cousins, nieces and nephews. Jeff was a graduate of Forest Hill High School, class of 1979, where he played on the football team and made many lifelong friends. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved to cook barbeque. Jeff spent many wonderful days hunting, fishing and cooking with his friends Dave, Hal and Dan just to name a few. God truly blessed Jeff with loving family and friends. He worked in the plumbing field at Bond Plumbing Supply, Crane Plumbing/Fiat Products and JC Rand (manufacturers' rep) for many years. During the last twelve years he was employed first at the Palm Beach County School District and as of 2007 at the South Florida Water Management District. A memorial service will be held at Christ Fellowship South Campus, Thursday, January 21, 2016, at 2:00 pm. The church is located at 5312 Northlake Boulevard, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33418.
