Jeffrey Lawrence Riddell, known to everyone as Jeff, passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 77. Born in New York, Jeff made his home in Lake Worth, Florida, where he lived a life defined by love, service, and family.
Jeff dedicated much of his career to fighting for working people, serving as President of the Postal Workers Union of Broward County, a role that reflected his deep sense of fairness and his belief in standing up for others. But if you asked Jeff what mattered most, the answer was simple: his family. At the center of it all was his sweetie, his wife Rosann, who was his greatest companion and the love of his life. More than anything, Jeff loved spending time with the people who meant the world to him, his daughter Tara, his son Tyler, his son-in-law Jason, his niece Gillie and nephews Corey and Anthony, and of course his grandson Jaxson. He cherished every gathering, every moment together, and made everyone around him feel like the most important person in the room. And nothing brought him more joy than being Poppi, spoiling Jaxson every chance he got.
He is survived by his beloved wife and sweetie, Rosann; his daughter Tara Riddell-Freeman, son-in-law Jason and grandson Jaxson; his son Tyler; and his niece Gillian and nephews Corey and Anthony. Jeff had a saying he never let anyone forget: "I love you, and God loves you." Those words were who he was, warm, faithful, and always wanting the people around him to feel loved. He made sure they did. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
