Good Centered Women was her given native name and a proud member of The Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan. She enjoyed traveling to Pow-wow's to see family, friends and meet new friends and of course sell beads. She loved sewing and beading Regalia for her children and grandchildren. Nothing gave her more joy then going to Pow-wow's and seeing family and especially her grandchildren dress up and dance. Also gatherings at her home with family and friends. Jeannette also took great pleasure in spending time with her girlfriends out celebrating life. Jeannette considered her greatest treasures in her life to be her Husband, Children, Grandchildren and close friends. She had much love for her Shambo relatives out in Montana and will be greatly missed by all. Her irresistable smile, laugh and kind heart will be most remembered and held close by the hearts of those whom dearly love her. If anyone ever needed a place to stay or a hot meal, Jeannette was the first without question to help others. Many people were blessed through her hospitality and love. The person that she holds by far closest to her heart, is the true love of her life, her husband Louis. Jeannette met the love of her life in 1983 while attending Haskell Indian Junior College. They dated and were inseparable from then on. Always encouraging her, standing by her, cheering her on. He is the rock on which she leaned on. In lieu of flowers; the family suggest donations to The Juvenile Diabetes Organization in Jeannette's memory. The site is https://www.jdrf.org Jeannette's wake will be help privately.
