Janel Lee Larvin On March 19, 2023, Janel Lee Larvin, age 42, loving mother of two, and wife to husband Nehemiah Clarke, passed away in the early hours after a courageous battle with cancer. Janel was born in 1981 in New York to Ernst and Karen Larvin. The oldest of their six children, Janel was the greatest big sister. She will be deeply missed by her siblings Kerrie Larvin, Karen Henderson, Rachel Webb, Danielle Ferret, and Vincent Larvin. Janel did her best to keep all of them out of trouble, no easy task, and they will be forever grateful for her constant love and support. Janel was an incredible mother to her two boys. Jacob, her oldest, has her huge heart, while Greyson, "her spicy little boy," has her sense of humor. Janel's greatest joy in life was raising her sons. Whether it was cheering at soccer games, helping with homework, or proudly celebrating them at honor roll ceremonies, Janel was the most devoted mom. As a daughter, wife, and sister, Janel could not have been more kind or thoughtful. Janel's brilliant smile and infectious laugh could light up any room. We will forever miss her quick wit, her famous tacos, and hearing her exclaim that "coffee is life!" We are grateful for her love and not a day will go by where we won't miss her. The family would like to extend a special thank you to University of Miami, especially Dalissa Tejera and Macarena Ines De La Fuentes, for their compassion and care during Janel's treatment. Visitation will take place on March 25, 2023 at 3:00 p.m., ending at 5:00 p.m., with service at 4:00 pm at Palms West Funeral Home and Crematory, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm, FL.
