James Martin Zayak

James Martin Zayak, age 84, of Viera, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026.

James was born on January 1, 1942, in East Pike Township, Washington, Pennsylvania, to Joe and Evelyn (Huber) Zayak. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Joe Zayak and Bill Zayak, as well as his son, Joseph Zayak.

On July 3, 1971, James married the love of his life, Janet Louise Dunn, and together they shared many years of marriage, family, and devotion.

James proudly served in the United States Army, honoring his country with dedication and integrity. Following his military service, he worked as a member of Local 18, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment. I..

James is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Louise Zayak; his children James Martin Zayak Jr. (Michelle Haurin Zayak), Sherri Ann (Zayak) Louis (Kenneth Clair Louis); and his stepson Frank Elio Piscitelli.

He was a proud grandfather to James Martin Zayak III (Emylee Kamyle Zayak), Morgan Nicole (Zayak) Reiff (Duane Stuart Reiff), K.J. Louis, Abby Claire Louis, Grace Amber Louis, - Eva Francesca Piscitelli, Gia Marie Piscitelli, Lili Rose Zayak, and Sophia Jolie Zayak.

James was also blessed with great-grandchildren Tyler James Zayak, London Belle Zayak, Koa Maverick Zayak, Haven Nicole Reiff, and Josie Grace Reiff.

James will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a proud veteran. His legacy of family, service, and hard work will live on in the many lives he touched.
