James Lee Wade

April 25, 1948 — October 1, 2009

JAMES WADE "Jim" Jim Wade, a native of Spokane, WA born April 25, 1948, a Loxahatchee resident, went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2009. Jim served this country with pride during the Viet Nam War. Jim could type, and use computers before most of us knew about telecommunications. In the military, Jim was the "Radar O'Reilly" providing information services. Jim had a heart-warming story about trading paper goods to another unit for rubber boots to give to his fellow soldiers tramping through the Viet Nam jungle. Jim had a tender heart, but was also a fierce soldier. A better friend could not be found. We will always remember Jim?s love for his Corvettes, his love of boats and sailing, cats, and the "sweet science of boxing." Jim was preceded in death by his father, James Wade of Spokane, WA. Jim is survived by his wife, Saundra; mother, Lee Ada Wade; brother, Mychal; and a host of friends and loved ones. A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 8, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Parkway, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. In lieu of flowers, Jim would like us to love one another. If that?s not possible, donations in his name to the American Cancer Society would be an awesome tribute to a wonderful human being. We love you, Jim.
