James Thomas Reddy

James “Jim” Reddy, 67, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2026, in West Palm Beach. Born on November 12, 1958, in Brooklyn, Jim was known for his strong work ethic, love for his family, and easygoing spirit.

Jim worked for many years as a bus operator before proudly owning and operating his own dump truck business. He took pride in providing for his family and was respected by those who knew him for his dedication and perseverance.

Above all else, Jim enjoyed spending time with his family, sharing stories, laughter, and often a cold beer with those he loved most. He also enjoyed playing cards, fishing, and the simple moments spent with family and friends. Jim had a special love for his beloved bird, Digger, who brought him companionship and joy over the years. He will be remembered for his caring heart, sense of humor, and the happiness he brought to those around him.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lynda Reddy; his son, James Reddy Jr. and wife, Jaime Reddy; his daughter, Shannen Yurcak and husband, Ryan Yurcak; his cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Ethan, Ali, Jovahn, Xavier, and Malaki; his sisters, Mary and Beth; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was deeply compassionate toward children and those receiving end-of-life care. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to hospice care organizations or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in his memory.

Jim will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
