James Robert Mason Jr

James Robert Mason, Jr., 58, of Loxahatchee, FL was taken home to Heaven on August 26, 2012. His memory will remain alive in his sons Brandon Mason & Devin Mason, daughter Brittany Mason, mother Joan Mason, sisters Joan Tierney & Janine Goldin, brothers Michael Mason & William Mason, sister-in-law Karen Thomas as well as all of his beloved nephews & nieces, extended family, and friends. James (Jim or Jimmy Jim as he liked to be called) was born on December 19, 1953 in Staten Island, NY to his loving mother Joan Warren Mason and father James Mason, Sr. (deceased). He loved fulfilling his brotherly duties of taking care of and playing tricks on all of his brothers and sisters growing up. He graduated from Christopher Columbus High School in Miami, FL. For well over 20 years, Jim worked in the printing sales profession. His whole life blossomed the day he met his gorgeous & vivacious wife Debra Sue Cerny Mason (deceased). Jim & Debi shared an unbreakable bond for one another & decided to share the results of their love by creating Brandon, Devin, and Brittany. Jim, Debi, and the kids decided to fulfill their dreams of having horses and a farm and moved from Plantation, FL to Loxahatchee, FL. Throughout the years, Jim had experienced many happy ,joyous times as well as devastating & heartbreaking ones but his charismatic personality, fantastic sense of humor, and his endless devotion to his family always remained constant. Jim's family welcomes anyone looking to pay their respects to unite in the celebration of his beautiful soul on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, FL from 6:00pm – 9:00pm & on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles Roman Catholic Church in Royal Palm Beach, FL at 11:00am. Flowers and donations in Jim's honor are certainly welcome & appreciated though are completely optional (he was passionate about finding a cure for cancer and helping animals).
