James Kenneth Hewitt

James Hewitt, a machinist for Pratt and Whitney and resident of Loxahatchee, FL, died unexpectedly on November 29, 2021 at the age of 66 while on his way home from work. James is survived by his wife, Kathleen Hewitt, his daughter, Allison Hewitt, his sister Gail and her husband Dan Reeve, his brother Jon and wife Melinda Fleming, his 22 nieces and nephews along with his four cats, Spooky, Mitzie, Whitt and Bud. James was born on September 27th, 1955 to Virgil and Margaret Hewitt. He graduated from Homer High school in 1973 and began pursuing his machinist career shortly after high school. On July 3rd 1990 he married Kathleen and welcomed his one and only daughter on June 30th, 1993. James was a devoted father and husband and amazing friend. He enjoyed listening to music, playing the drums, working on his motorcycles, and going to the beach with his family. He rode his motorcycles as much as he could and lived to ride and ride to live. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
