James "Jim" F. Henson 81, husband of the late Carol A. (Carlson) Henson of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 at home. Born August 3, 1938 in NYC, he was the son of the Late Fergus and Theresa (Monti) Henson. "Jim" was a longshoreman and a Teamster until he opened "All Star Sportscards" in Carmel, NY turning his love and vast knowledge of sports in to a business. Jim retired to Florida with his loving wife Carol to enjoy the warm weather after being a resident of Manhattan,Bronx and Mahopac, NY. He spent his retirement enjoying his hobbies of antique hunting, furniture refinishing and restoring wooden sculptures. He was survived by his children, daughters Denise Westervelt of Petersburgh, NY and Darlene Henson of Carmel, NY, and son Frank Henson of Carmel, NY, 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two sisters Ellen DiBenedetto and Clementine Cillo of , Bronx, NY one brother John Henson of Atlanta, Ga., six nieces and nephews. He left this life the same way he lived it, sharp witted and independent, in his own home, with no debts financial or personal. He was escorted to heaven by Angels playing "My Way"
