James Rivard Grinder

It is with overwhelming grief that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved son James Rivard Grinder on June 11, 2016. Jim was born May 23, 1980 in Buffalo, New York. He leaves to forever cherish his memory his parents Barbara and Kim Grinder; his sister Catherine (Travis) Winslow, his niece Madeline, and his nephew Andrew; his grandmother Lois Grinder; his aunts Maureen Odle and Lynn (Thomas) Patterson; his uncle Michael Grinder; his cousins Jennifer Tritch, Heather Gahr, Shawn Patterson, and Jessica Jupe; and his best friends Bryan Moon and Nhan Du. A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in criminal justice, a licensed paramedic, a stand-up comedian, red-haired, big-hearted, always ready with a joke and a smile, Jim will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation is from 6 to 8 Tuesday evening, June 14 at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach. A funeral Mass will be held 10:30 Wednesday morning, June 15 at Our Lady Queen of the Apostles, 100 Crestwood Boulevard S, Royal Palm Beach.
