James Edward Gonzalez, March 30, 1960 - July 14, 2013 Fondly known as "King" by his family and friends: a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and uncle passed away on July 14, 2013 at 53 years old, in West Palm Beach, Florida. King was a nickname that was given to him by his big brother. He was born in Brooklyn, NY and then settled in Staten Island, NY before relocating to Florida. He is survived by his mother, father, wife, son and daughter in law, daughter, three grandchildren, four sisters, three brothers and thirty three nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister Aneida, and a nephew Eli. A truck driver by trade, King was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating, gardening and carpentry. He adored spending time with family. King had a great sense of humor and was passionate about making others laugh or just to put a smile on their face. He always had a kind word and was non-judgmental.
