James Michael "Mike" Douglass

JAMES MICHAEL “MIKE” DOUGLASS 76, of West Palm Beach, FL. passed away on Friday, August 7, 2026 at Wellington Regional Hospital.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during the Vietnam Era.
Born in West Palm Beach at St. Mary’s Hospital he was a Florida native and grew up in Lake Worth.
Mike retired from the family air conditioning company in 2015.
Mike enjoyed fishing and going to the Nascar races in Daytona Beach.
He was a wonderful cook; a talent he learned from his mom and also passed down to his sons.
He was loyal and a good friend to many and also had a love for animals.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diane M. Douglass. Mike was blessed with three children, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
His daughter Jan Riddle (Kevin); his two sons Jon M. Douglass, and Ryan P. Douglass (Tiffany).
His grandchildren include Hayley Badillo (Braxton) and Brandon Riddle (Dexter) Hannah Douglass and Aubrey Douglass. His great grandchildren include Easton Badillo and Grayson Badillo
Mike is survived by his two brothers, Bruce Douglass (Priscilla) and Gary Douglass and one sister, Carole Douglass and he has nieces and nephews.
The family will welcome friends at a Memorial Service to be held at the South Florida National Cemetery (Military cemetery) located at 6501 St. Rd. 7 Wellington, FL on Monday, September 14, 2026 at 10:00 am.
