James H. Demerritt

Celebrating the life of James H. DeMerritt, son of the late John and Anna DeMerritt. The Celebration of Life Memorial Service on June 1, 2019 at 10:30 AM will be held at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 63 Fernwood Road, Montgomery, II. Phone (630-892-9309). He lived most of his life in Florida with his wife Betty, daughter Diana and son Adam. Brother Allan, sisters JoAnn and Martha, deceased brother Donald and sister Patricia all held a special place in his heart. Jim adored his three grandchildren that knew him as Papa. He will be lovingly missed by all. Jim's passion was his homemade nativity that was anticipated by everyone in the area during the Christmas season. Every year his nativity grew and his creative work was his witness to share his love for the Lord Jesus.
