James Justin Ahern

James Justin Ahern (Jim) was born in New York to John Coughlin Ahern and Mary Jacek Ahern on June 2, 1949. He lived in Wellington, Florida for the last 22 years. He departed this earthly life peacefully on August 3, 2020 at Palms West Hospital at the age of 71. Funeral service will take place on Friday, August 14, 2020 at 11am. The Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 from 6pm to 9pm. Both will be held at Palm West Funeral Home and Cremation Care, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411. Officiating minister Pastor David Chandler. James attended Broward Community College and later became an entrepreneur specializing in real estate investment. James truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: chatting with friends and family where he had an uncanny ability to reach people of all ages in a deep and positive way. James enjoys travelling, restaurant hopping both local and statewide. He enjoys playing his guitar, dancing and attending live concerts. James leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife Olive Sullivan-Ahern whom he wed on July 3, 2011. They were together 7 years previous to them getting married. He also leaves behind brother John Geoffrey Ahern, sister Alice Louise Ahern, Nieces Laurie Ahern and Nikole Rose Kohn, nephews Sean Dylan Ahern and Garth David Ahern.
