Alvarez, who left us peacefully on 06-11-25 at the age of 71. A devoted nurse throughout her life, Jacqueline dedicated her heart, hands, and unwavering compassion to the care of others. Her career was more than a profession—it was a calling that touched countless lives with grace and empathy. She gave freely of her time, her love, and her spirit, making everyone feel seen, heard, and deeply valued. She is survived by her loving mother, Nancy Whitmore; her daughter, Nancy Schurter, and son-in-law, Troy Schurter; her son, Matt Alvarez; her daughter in-law Nicole Alvarez: her cherished grandchildren, Alex Schurter, Loren Schurter, Jett Alvarez and Partner John Finity — each of whom brought immense joy and pride into her life. Jacqueline will be remembered not only for her professional dedication and her stunning presence, but for her fierce love of family, her selflessness, and the quiet strength she carried through life. Her legacy lives on in the hearts she healed, the family she adored, and the love she gave so freely. She was our light. She will be deeply missed.
