Jack Joseph Taslitz

Jack Joseph Taslitz, of Wellington, FL, passed away on December 30, 2011 at the age of 87. Born in Chicago, IL, he was the son of Joseph & Gloria Taslitz. Jack served in the Navy during World War II and was accepted into Annapolis but, did not attend. He taught flying at Ft. Sheridan, IL during the war. He married Jeraldine Taslitz in Chicago in 1944 at the age of 19. They were married for 58 years. Jack was predeceased by his daughter; Gail Janet Taslitz, who died at the age of 14, his brother; Lawrence Taslitz, and by his wife; Jeraldine, who died in 2002. He is survived by his son; Neal J. Taslitz and his grandson; Aaron M. Taslitz. A memorial service will be held in Jack's honor at Palms West Funeral Home on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either Hospice of Palm Beach County or Temple Beth Torah, of Wellington, FL.
