Ivonne Dutra

Ivonne Dutra, 89, passed away on September 10, 2026, in Royal Palm Beach, Florida. She was born on September 30, 1936, in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Ivonne will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 60 years, Hugo Dutra; her son, Steve Dutra, and his wife Amy Dutra; her daughter, Carol Dutra Ellis, and her husband Justin Robert Ellis; and her grandchildren, Justin Alexander Ellis, Evan Dutra, and Sophie Dutra.

Ivonne built a beautiful life alongside Hugo, her partner of 60 years. Together they settled first in New Jersey in the 1970s before moving to Florida in 1987, eventually making their home in West Palm Beach in the early 2000s. A devoted Catholic, Ivonne's faith was a guiding presence throughout her life, grounding her as a wife and mother and shaping the love and care she gave so freely to her family.

Known for her quick wit and warm sense of humor, Ivonne had a gift for making the people around her laugh and feel at ease. She loved to travel, always eager for a new adventure, and had a soft spot for animals of all kinds. But nothing brought her more joy than time spent with her grandchildren, whom she cherished deeply.

She was a beloved wife and mother, remembered for her strength, her devotion, her humor, and the deep faith that carried her through a lifetime of love. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
