Ivey Milton King, Jr.

Ivey Milton King, Jr entered eternal rest suddenly on Monday, October 4, 2021, at the age of 60. Jr was preceded in death by his parents, Ivey Milton King, Sr and Anna King as well as his brother, Benjamin Ivey King. Every family has a crazy Uncle, and Jr may have been the KING of them all. He was the epitome of not having a filter. He made time for his family and friends and was always ready with a funny remark. He was a diamond in the rough handyman and was always creating beauty in people's homes, (especially for his sister, Donna). He was patient in teaching his nieces and great-nephew how to do things, and we always knew that he would show up to help. We cannot imagine a life without his love and crazy antics, it really feels like a life unfinished. Our hearts are shattered, we are heartbroken, but grateful for having Jr in our lives, grateful for his abundant love for us, and his infectious laugh. He touched the lives of so many people. He was truly a blessing from God. Jr is survived by his children, Christopher Robert, Alexander Joseph and Emily Ann, and the mother of his children, Marian Chang. His sisters, Deborah Padrick (Tim), Patricia Keesee (George), and Donna King Carbrey (Doug). His nieces, Melissa Boyster (Raymond), Jennifer Turlington (Brian), Deanna Page (Randy), Kirsten Stone (Brannin), Jamie Kerns (Joe), CJ Satterwhite (Germaine), and Delaina Reid. His great nieces and nephews, Jonah, Savannah, Jimmy, Amelia, Timmy, Lilly, Autumn, Caleb, Carra, Grayson, Ashlynn, Jeremiah, Christopher, Jacob, Vincent and Edward. JR is also survived by his dear sweet friends, Ron and Marti Kraus, and Don and Helen Berkash, along with countless friends, and his loyal furbaby, Sadie. Visitation will be on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 10:00 – 11:30 am with graveside committal at 12:00 pm at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery.
