Issa George Carraha passed away peacefully on April 10, 2021 surrounded by his family. Issa was born on January 15, 1930 in Petit Goave, Haiti. He was a man of deep faith who loved life and lived each day to the fullest. He was a skillful soccer player and coach, an avid sports fan, and a "serious" domino player. He had a laser-sharp mind, kept up-to-date on domestic and world current affairs on a daily basis, had a great sense of humor, loved to dance, and enjoyed social gatherings. He would light up any room with his gorgeous, twinkling green eyes, bright smile, and electric personality. Issa had four children, but so many others looked up to him as a father figure because of his sincerity, generous heart, and wisdom. In 1956, while recuperating in Jamaica from a life-threatening surgery, he met his future wife, Lorrice, in Jamaica, and there began their love story. Issa married the love of his life on April 6, 1958. Sixty-three years, four children, twelve grandchildren, and three grandchildren later, Issa definitely considered his greatest love and achievement to be his family. Issa is survived by his beloved wife, Lorrice; daughters, Carol and Jackie; sons, Georges and Richard; son-in-law, Nick, daughters-in-law, Kim and Viviana, grandchildren, Alex and his wife Polly, Natasha, Kelly and her husband Ben, Christina, Jason, Adam, Christian, Alyssa, Gabriella, Catherine, Christopher, and Jonathan; great grandchildren, Isabella, Victoria, and Xander; brother, Joe; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Issa leaves behind a great legacy and many family members and friends who miss him dearly but will always carry him in their hearts. Till we meet again, sleep well. We love and miss you with all our hearts!
