Irene Omena Powell June 22,1927 – July 6, 2017 Irene Omena Powell, passed away Thursday, July 6, 2017, due to illness, at Trustbridge Gerstenberg Hospice Center of Palm Beach County. Irene was born June 22, 1927 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She moved to Palm Beach County with her daughter and son-in-law in October 1995. She leaves behind her daughter Mildred and son-in-law James Barton of Loxahatchee, Fl., sons Claude & Brian Powell of Pittsburgh, Sister Norita Snyder of Pittsburgh, Granddaughter Kelly Wishart of Texas, Granddaughter Angelique Barton of Orlando, Florida, Grandson Hirschel Barton of Illinois, Grandson Emory Barton of Pennsylvania, six great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends in the Pittsburgh, and Washington, DC area. A special thank you to Trustbridge Hospice of Palm Beach County, and all those who cared for Irene in her final months.
