Ignacio Vazquez

Ignacio Vazquez was born on July 30, 1933 in Guayama, Puerto Rico. He was the second oldest child. Ignacio moved to New York in his early teen years and met his wife Lillian Ponce and her two daughters Leticia and Nilsa. Lillian and Ignacio had a total of 6 children together, Migdalia, Lillian, Elizabeth, Ignacio Jr., Richard and Jacqueline. Ignacio then was followed by a son, Eduardo. Ignacio is survived by his 6 children Migdalia, Lillian, Ignacio Jr. Richard, Jacqueline, and Eduardo. His daughter Elizabeth passed in 1998 and his wife Lillian passed in 2000. Ignacio had 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Ignacio was a loving father who was a provider and rock for his family. He always made people laugh and had a great sense of humor. He was a strong man physically and mentally. Everyone who knew him knew he loved music, he loved to cook, and he loved to stay active. He would walk wherever he could and would make conversations with people throughout his walks. He will be missed dearly.
