Hugh Fredricksen Tyndall, Sr., 78, of Loxahatchee Groves, passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2007 while visiting his son and daughter-in-law in Old Town, Florida. He was born in Jensen Beach, FL on August 18, 1929 to Charles Theodosius Tyndall and Elenora Mae Fredricksen. As a youth he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and as a young adult was ranked a quarter master in the Naval Reserves. He influenced numerous lives as an Industrial Arts Teacher at Conniston Jr. High, Twin Lakes High School, John I. Leonard High School and Glades Central High School in the Palm Beach County School system for 45 years. He actively served in many positions as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints including a 2 year Education Mission with his wife, Mary Ann, in Nuku-alofa, Tonga from 1980-1982 and was currently serving as 1st Counselor in the Belle Glade Branch Presidency. He enjoyed being with his animals (dogs and cows) on his Loxahatchee Farm; working on outdoor and handyman projects, camping, fishing, music, traveling, helping and serving others He is survived by his loving wife and eternal companion, Mary Ann of Loxahatchee Groves; son, Hugh F. Tyndall, Jr. (Penny) of Old Town, FL; daughter, Patricia McDonald (Norm, deceased) of Loxahatchee, FL; foster son, David Verner, deceased (Judy) of West Palm Beach, FL; brother, Bruce Tyndall (Fran, deceased) of Bartow, FL and sister, Charlsie Tyndall (Don Wilkins, deceased) of Clayton, GA; 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Viewings will be held Sunday, December 2nd, 6:00?8:00p.m. at Palms West Funeral Home in Royal Palm Beach, & Monday, December 3rd, 10:00-11:15a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wellington. Funeral services will follow at 11:30a.m. Bishop Mark Watson and President Jerry Lunford will be officiating.
