Henry John Turner, 93, formerly of Wellington, FL, died Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Four Season's Elizabeth House. A native of New York City, he was born on April 20 1916 to Henry and May Hermann Turner. During World War II, he served on a US Navy destroyer in the Pacific Campaign. Mr. Turner retired in 1980 with 35 years of service from J. Walter Thompson Advertising as a Vice-President in New York City where he served as an account executive to Eastman Kodak. Mr. Turner was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Wellington, FL and enjoyed golfing in his spare time. He is survived by a son, John A. Turner and wife Kathy, of Darien, CT; two daughters, Marge T. Lilley, of Ketchum, ID, Pat T. Sells and husband Doug, of Hendersonville; six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. In addition to his parents, Mr. Turner was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Nora Casey Turner, in 1990. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM, Friday, March 26, 2010 at St. Rita Catholic Church in Wellington, Fl. Burial will follow in Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery.
