Henry Joseph Torcivia Sr

Henry Joseph Torcivia left his loving family and entered Heaven on May 9, 2013. He was born on Staten Island, New York on November 23, 1931. He moved to Florida with his beautiful wife Florence in 1973. He and Florence were high school sweethearts at Port Richmond High School. After serving in the Navy, he worked in banking in Brooklyn. He later opened and operated a taxi business, Randall Cars, in Staten Island. After moving to Florida, he was with the Palm Beach County Library System for 20 years. He was a kind and compassionate man who was devoted to his family. Heaven is welcoming a very special person. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Florence, and his wonderful parents, Natalina and Joseph Torcivia. He is survived by his loving children, Glen J. Torcivia and Henry J. Torcivia, Jr., two precious grandchildren Gemma Torcivia and Joseph Torcivia; and cherished sister-in-law Rosemary Ratty. "Uncle Hank" will be missed by his many wonderful nieces and nephews. Viewing services will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Palms West Funeral Home, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, Florida, (561) 753-6004.
