Helen Jacqueline Andrea Phillips

(Jackie) Helen Phillips 59, passed away on October 3, 2014 in Loxahatchee, FL. She was born on March 10, 1955 in Georgetown Guyana, to the late Jack Warner and Stella Zambardi. Raised in Belsize Park, England, she married Harold Phillips in 1978 before moving to Florida in 1990. Helen was passionate about working with preschoolers, which she did for over 30 years. She always said that the 3 year olds were the best group to work with. Being involved with childcare over the years she took great enjoyment in mentoring her co-workers. In her spare time Helen loved long road trips with her husband, spending time with her granddaughter, and taking bike rides in the morning around the community. She is survived by her husband Harold, daughters Erin and Andrea Phillips, and her granddaughter Amiah. A memorial gathering will be held at Palms West Funeral Home on Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM with a memorial service beginning at 1:00 PM. Instead of wearing black, the family requests that guests wear white or light colored clothing.
