Hassan Sarhadi, loving husband and father, left this earthly life On July 10, 2022 at the age of 93. Hassan was born in the Gholhak neighborhood in Iran in the spring of 1929. Practically raising himself after losing his parents at a young age, he became quite resourceful at finding ways to live on his own. He met his lifetime love, Sicilia, and married. The two soon had a son Fred, and then a daughter, Frieda. Hassan soon decided he would take his young family on a new adventure and moved to America. They arrived at New York's JFK Airport on May 19, 1963. He knew no English, and had few possessions but jumped all in to take small jobs to take care of his family. Over the years, he opened shops selling a variety of electronics and held down a job at Stewart Stamping Corporation for decades. Eventually retiring, Hassan embarked on a new chapter and moved to Florida with his wife and enjoyed many years there where he loved to garden, sell goods at local flea markets and explore. He and Sicilia proudly welcomed grandchildren, Samantha, Marissa, Justine and Kristina as well as Rebecca, Emily and Ryan. They also became great-grandparents with two new additions. Family was all-important to Hassan and he spent all the time he could surrounded by those he loved. He had an infectious sense of humor and loved to make others laugh. He never hesitated to offer a helping hand, words of encouragement and advice. He will be missed by all. Our loss is Heaven's gain
