Mr. Harry Kentros, aged 79, passed away on May 10th, 2024, in West Palm Beach, FL. He was a Marine Corp veteran who served from 1965 to 1969, completing two tours in the Vietnam War and receiving two Purple Hearts. Harry was a self-employed plumber and also worked for the US Postal Service. He was a loving husband to Loretta Kentros and a cherished father to James F. Kentros (deceased) and his wife Shea, survived by their children Colin & Conner. Leaves behind deceased brother Chris & his wife Lee. He also leaves his sister Despina, niece Stephanie, two nephews, and niece. Stepfather to Richard, James, Thomas, and (deceased) Gina Rizzitano. He was a step-grandfather to Michael, Ryan, Joseph, Anthony, Vanessa, Thomas Jr, and Vincent. Harry also leaves behind five great-grandchildren. Harry Kentros was known for his quiet, respectful, and honorable nature, always helping others selflessly. Harry loved Boston Sports teams and Cape Cod Beaches. He was a devoted member of St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church in West Palm Beach, FL. A viewing will be held on May 21, 2024, at St. Catherine Greek Orthodox Church 110 Southern Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL 33405, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, followed by a Mass and burial at South Florida National Cemetery on 6501 FL-7, Wellington, FL 33449. In lieu of flowers, donations to VA hospitals are welcomed.
