Harry J. Danson III

Harry J. Danson, age 71, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2026. He was born on May 12, 1954, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Geneva and Harry Danson.

Harry was a devoted husband, father, and Papa who found his greatest joy at home with his family. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry J. Danson, Jr.; his mother, Geneva Danson; his brother, Kenneth Wayne Danson.

Harry is survived by his loving wife of over 46 years, Carrie; his son, Jason (Melissa); his daughter, Jennifer; and his three cherished grandchildren, Ayden, Gabriella, and Madison. He is also survived by his brother, Kerry (Janice); his sisters, Patricia and Julie; and many other beloved family members.

Harry was known for his kindness, dedication, humor, faith, and generosity. He enjoyed spending time with his family, watching football—especially the Florida State Seminoles—going to the casino, cooking, taking cruises, and playing with his beloved fur babies, Coco, Angel, Kilo, and Ella.

Harry will always be remembered as a loving father, brother, Papa, son, uncle, and friend.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date and time.
