Harry G. Beozubiak, of Wellington, born April 20, 1933, died July 21 at JFK Medical Center following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Evelyn M. Beozubiak; his beloved older sister, Eva Chamberlin, who resides in California; his nephew Charles Kudra and his wife, Judy, as well as close friends, including the Peric family, who were like family to him.
Harry grew up in Ambridge, PA, where he worked for many years at J&L/LTV Steel. He saw battle as a U.S. Marine during the Korean war, an experience that affected him deeply. He approached life with a warm, generous, and trusting heart, which endeared him to many, and he was a role model and father figure. He loved the Pittsburgh Pirates, caffeine-free Diet Coke, and the dogs - Peeki, Peppy, and Sparky - that he and Evelyn cared for.
