Harold Robert La Paugh Jr.

It is with great sadness the the LaPaugh family announces that Harold LaPaugh better known as "Hollywood Harold" in South Florida , "Doc" in NY on "K" court at Silver Point Beach Club and around town, died peacefully among close family on July 1, 2023 in West Palm Beach, Florida. Born in Queens NY he lived an amazing life doting on family and friends. From telling his stories and jokes at the "Den" , Brighty O's" and the beach club to South Florida after retirement in 2010. His 45 years of service as an OR Technician at St Joseph's/ St John's Hospital in Queens was his true calling. He was also on call for the hospital on weekends for late night emergencies in the O.R. and at the same time working as an Orthopedic Tech 5 days a week (after work) for several local doctor's in the 5 Towns. His days were long so he could support his family and live a great life which he did with grace and laughter. He is now with his wife Carman as they are reunited. He is survived by his son, daughter in law grandkids, sister, nephews, nieces, cousins, and adopted families and friends.
