Hamawati Devi Ramcharan

Hamawati Devi Ramcharan, known by many as Lowtie, was born in Penal, Trinidad on January 10th, 1955. She was the eldest of 10 brothers and sisters. She is survived by 3 sisters and 5 brothers. She is the daughter of Ramkissoon Baboolal (deceased), and Sylvie Ramdharry Baboolal (deceased) of Katwaroo Trace, Penal. Lowtie is survived by her husband of 48 years and 8 months, Gyandeo. Together they have 3 children Vashtie Cassie, Satish (Joey) and Malini (Usha), 6 grandchildren Jovi, Artee, Jasmine, Vinny, Santos (Rahul/Munna), and Priya, also her 2 sons-in-law Ramesh and Santos. Mama, as she is fondly called, by people of all ages, considers and adopted many nice people along the journey of her life, such as SherryAnn (Punkin) and Pundit Baldath, Suroj, Jailall, Surina and Sunil. She was a kind, loving, caring, wonderful, giving, generous, person, whom, even in difficult situations, was the life the event, can get a little smile or laugh out of anybody. After a long struggle with her many complicated illnesses, she breathed her last breath on Saturday, February 20th, 2021, 10:06 am.
