Gregory Dean Waterman, 64, of Jupiter, Florida, passed away on September 22, 2025 at 12:26 p.m. He took his last breath surrounded by his family and close friends as they shared memories of love and laughter. Born on June 4, 1961 in Willimantic, Connecticut to Ina and Everett Waterman, he moved to south Florida in 1981 to help his brother Bob recover from a severe motorcycle accident. Shortly, upon his arrival to Florida, he began working at Winn-Dixie where he met the love of his life, Maritza, as well as wonderful life-long friends. Greg was a dedicated and well-respected employee of Costco, where he worked for 35 years. He became an integral part of the store's operations, eventually overseeing all maintenance-related responsibilities at the Northlake warehouse. He was fondly known as the MacGyver of the store due to his ability to fix any problem ranging from carpentry, plumbing and mechanical problems. Beyond his professional life, he found great joy in helping others in his life and never asked for anything in return. He was a man known for his devotion to his family, faith, and friends with a passion for fishing and being on the water. He taught his kids to always put family and their faith in God first, to go out of their way to help others, and to make time to pursue things in life they are passionate about. Greg will be remembered for his strength, unwavering dedication, and the kindness he extended to everyone around him. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Maritza, his son, Christopher, and his daughter, Amanda. He is also survived by his mother, Ina, and his brothers Everett, Jr., Jim, and Bob. He was preceded in death by his father Everett, Sr., his sister Susan, and brother, John. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He will always be in our hearts.
