Grace Scott

Grace (Janette) Scott, age 80, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away peacefully August 27, 2021. Janette was born September 2, 1940 in Socorro, New Mexico to Charles and Blanche Wills. As a young girl her family lived many places before settling in Hialeah, FL. After graduating from Hialeah High School in 1958 Janette married her high school sweetheart, Lynn Erickson. They spent many happy years together & had two beautiful children. Janette & Lynn later divorced, and Janette met and married her life partner Arthur Scott. Upon Art's retirement he and Janette moved to Knoxville, TN where they made many joyful memories together. Janette was self-employed as an accountant and served law firms Rice Pugatch Robinson Storfer & Cohen, PLLC and Shubin & Bass PA with their accounting needs until her retirement in 2019. Janette is survived by her son David (Beth) Erickson, daughter Kathryn (Greg) Koufos, grandchildren Matthew (Kari) Erickson, Cody Erickson, Taylor, Madison and Cameron Koufos, great-grandchild Hudson Erickson along with many nieces and nephews and an abundance of friends. Janette is preceded in death by her loving husband Art, her brother Charles "Chuck" Wills, and her twin sister Janene Harger. Janette was successful in creating a beautiful life for herself overcoming many obstacles along the way. She was a kind and giving soul. She always looked for the bright side in every moment all the way until the last moment of her life. She has loved and she has been loved by all who know her. She will be missed. There will be a small service for immediate family members only. Grace will be laid to rest alongside her husband Arthur at the South Florida (VA) National Cemetery.
